Before I left for my trip, Valerie brought her kitten over so that Moxie could meet him. This was because she's keeping Moxie at her apartment while I'm away. Anyway, Moxie was very annoyed to see a new cat in Moxie's Home, so she did the whole poofy tail halloween cat thing. Hilarious picture here. You can see Valerie's kitten cowering in the corner.
Fortunately, now they are getting along just great, according to Valerie, and they play together and everything. :)
In other kitten news, I've decided to keep Alex. It was a close contest between Moxie and Alex, and then even Simon was in the running, but hopefully I've made the right choice!
If you're in Pittsburgh, please, please come play with my kittens. They are driving me crazy! They need to be petted several times a day, or else they meow plaintively and look so cute that you feel like a horrible person if you don't.
They are driving me crazy! But they are just cute enough that I can stand it. I had to move them from their cardboard house in the living room to the bathroom, since one of them managed to get out, TWICE (I have no idea how he managed it), and they were also SO loud and right next to my bed. Hopefully they will enjoy their new home, and not get too freaked out when I have to use the bathroom or shower.
I've fenced off part of my apartment for the kittens, using taken apart carboard boxes. I'll post pictures soon--I also bought a digital camera! The kittens have way more room now and they also seem to be using the litterbox! Before I had stacked up boxes around them, but they eventually managed to climb over them.
I'm fostering 5 adorable little 7-week-old kittens! :) (This means that I take care of them for a few weeks until they are old enough to be adopted.) But I'm going to keep one of them.
Once I borrow a camera from someone, I will post pictures! :)
